About Us

Lt. Col. Pradeep Khare is a veteran of the Indian Army. He is a TEDx speaker, a blogger, an author of eight motivational books and a YouTuber.

Mrs. Madhu Khare has been a teacher, columnist, author, poetess, social influencer and an award-winning YouTuber.

Objectives

The following are the objectives of the Foundation:

• To alleviate the pain and suffering of the underprivileged in rural and urban areas through proper medical treatment.
• To create health awareness among the underprivileged in rural and urban areas.
• To alleviate the pain and suffering of stray animals through proper medical treatment.

Vision

By 2031, the Foundation aims to achieve the following:

• Have a presence in about 10 states of India.
• Functional in about 400 localities throughout the country.
• Provided medical to about 50,000 beneficiaries of underprivileged categories in rural and urban areas.
• Affiliated with about 60 hospitals/chain of clinics throughout the country.
• Affiliated with approximately 250 doctors throughout the country.
• Got 80G certificate for donations exempt from the Income Tax.
• Partnered with corporates for utilizing their CSR funds.
• Have access to Government schemes for the benefit of the underprivileged.

Mission

The mission of the Foundation is as follows:

• To replicate the model of Gareeb kee Gullak in as many rural and urban areas in different cities of India.
• To identify qualified doctors and charitable hospitals who can do proper treatment of the underprivileged.
• To collect voluntary donations from Individuals, Business houses, Corporates, Industries, and Philanthropists and maintain proper accounts ensuring transparency of income and expenditure.
• To tie up with hospitals and chain of clinics where our beneficiaries can get treatment at concessional rates.

How we function

We aim to have volunteers in different cities across India, who will spread awareness about the initiatives, mission and vision of the Foundation in their local area via campaigns, banners, posters and public speeches. We will also spread awareness using digital channels like social media.

Once the awareness is spread, the underprivileged seeking to avail benefit under Gareeb Kee Gullak approach these volunteers and pays a nominal fee of ₹50 for a lifetime membership. He is provided with an Identity card that uniquely identifies the beneficiary.

Transparency

This Facebook page of Gareeb Ki Gullak will show the running count of all the beneficiaries, their details, the amount of donations received and the collection of payment for the identity cards of beneficiaries.

• No payment will be accepted in cash.
• No payment will be made directly to any of the beneficiaries.
• Payments will be made to hospitals, clinics, and chemists by PayTM or cheque or bank transfer.
